1. Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using Finwise AI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Free Service with Advertising

Finwise AI is free to use. The app is supported through:

• Google AdSense (web browser) and Google AdMob (Android app) advertising — ads are displayed within the app
• Affiliate commissions — we may earn a commission when you click certain product links

We may introduce optional premium features in the future. Any such changes will be communicated to users in advance.

3. Not Financial Advice

All content, AI-generated suggestions, calculations, projections, and coaching provided by Finwise AI are for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing in this app constitutes:

• Professional financial advice
• Investment advice or recommendations
• Tax advice
• Legal advice
• Banking or regulated financial services

Always consult a qualified financial professional before making significant financial decisions. This applies to users in all countries and jurisdictions.

4. Accuracy of Calculations and Projections

Finwise AI uses standard financial formulas for illustrative purposes. For example, the Investment Growth calculator uses a configurable annual return rate (default 7%) to generate projections. Actual financial results will vary significantly based on:

• Individual circumstances and spending habits
• Local market conditions and economic factors
• Inflation rates and currency fluctuations
• Tax obligations in your jurisdiction

The App makes no guarantees about the accuracy of projections, forecasts, or AI-generated coaching suggestions.

5. Data Responsibility

All financial data you enter into Finwise AI is stored locally on your device only, using browser IndexedDB and localStorage. You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of data you enter
• Backing up your data using the Export Backup feature (More → Data Management)
• Understanding that clearing your Android app cache or storage will permanently delete your local data

We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from device failure, OS updates, browser storage clearing, or any other cause.

6. Currency and Regional Differences

Finwise AI supports multiple currencies for convenience. Currency conversion rates are not included — all monetary figures are displayed in the currency you select. The app is available globally, but affiliate product availability and ad content may vary by region.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the app's code without written permission
• Use the app to facilitate fraud or financial crime

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this app (or 16 in EU/EEA countries).

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, branding, and AI logic in Finwise AI is owned by its developers (Habib Digi / habibdigi.net). You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms and privacy policies:

• Google AdSense (web) and Google AdMob (app) — Google Terms of Service
• Google Fonts — fonts loaded from Google CDN
• Font Awesome — icons loaded from Cloudflare CDN
• Affiliate partners (Amazon Associates and others) — governed by respective platform terms

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Finwise AI and its developers shall not be liable for any:

• Financial losses or damages arising from use of or reliance on the app
• Data loss resulting from device-level storage clearing
• Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages of any kind
• Inaccuracies in AI-generated suggestions or financial projections

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Finwise AI and its developers from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the App.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws in the jurisdiction of the app developer. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation where possible. For unresolved disputes, the parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
